This is the story of our future.
The overwhelming progress of AI in the 21st century help develop and progress society in the likes we have never seen before. However, this progress also forced mankind to confront the morality of using highly intelligent "machines" as tools. In the latter half of the 22nd century people now coexist with "humanoids". Humanoids are AI that are recognized as people and have human rights, unlike the "industrial robots" that are just used as tools. This has become the norm for society and people seem to peacefully coexist with humanoids.
Sudo Hikaru is a doctor that treats humanoids and the new disease that are brought about by the coexistence of humans and AI.
